Mipro - ACT-580H

The ACT-580H from MIPRO is a digital HF hand-held transmitter microphone designed to combine ease of use, robustness and sound accuracy. Its fog black metal casing gives it an elegant look and excellent durability. Its grip is designed to remain comfortable even during long periods of use, while its internal system greatly reduces handling noise.

The microphone capsule is protected by a robust metal grille in two parts: the upper grille can be removed for cleaning, while the lower grille is fixed to the body by an external thread. This effectively protects the capsule from shock, plosive noise and handling wear. The ACT-580H accepts all interchangeable capsules in the MIPRO range, whether dynamic (MU-59A) or condenser (MU-80A), and can also accommodate certain modules from other manufacturers with compatible specifications.

In terms of performance, this microphone uses the 5.8 GHz ISM band, reducing the risk of interference caused by traditional UHF systems or 2.4 GHz networks. Its 20 mW transmit power (depending on local regulations) is supported by an integrated broadband antenna housed in the bottom cover. A backlit LCD display, integrated into the patented power supply module, provides a clear view of essential information such as channel, frequency and battery status.

When it comes to power, the ACT-580H stands out for its flexibility. It can run on a rechargeable 18500 lithium-ion battery or two conventional AA batteries. Charging is via the integrated USB Type-C or via the MP-800 and MP-820 charging stations. A coloured ring at the end of the microphone makes it easy to identify each channel in multi-user configurations.

Weighing just 320g and measuring 272mm in length, the ACT-580H combines robustness, comfort and audio performance, offering a reliable solution for situations where clarity and stability of transmission are essential.
