Mipro - Pack ACT 626 + 2x ACT 600H + MP 820

In a panel discussion, a round-table debate or a joint presentation, having two identical microphones immediately makes it easier for speakers to take turns. This is precisely the principle behind the Mipro Pack ACT 626 + 2x ACT 600H + MP 820: two self-contained handheld microphones are paired with a dual-channel receiver capable of processing their signals simultaneously.

Each ACT-600H features a MU-85A supercardioid condenser capsule, suitable for face-to-face voice pickup. Its metal housing and traditional microphone design make it easy to pass from one speaker to another when several people take turns at the lectern or on stage. Sensitivity, low-cut filter and limiter settings can be adjusted directly on each transmitter to ensure consistent pickup despite different voices.

The role of the ACT-626 is particularly useful here: both channels feature independent balanced XLR outputs. The mixing desk can therefore receive each microphone separately and apply its own level, equalisation or dynamic processing. The two voices thus remain distinct right up to the mixing stage, rather than being combined into a single output.

ACT technology facilitates frequency synchronisation between the transmitters and the receiver, whilst Auto Scan helps to set up the system quickly. The digital transmission also benefits from 256-bit encryption and digital diversity reception.

Once the performance is over, the two ACT-600H units are placed in the MP-820. The docking station can accommodate two transmitters simultaneously and displays their charge status via LEDs. The microphones can therefore be placed directly into their docking station after use, with a clearly defined slot for each one.
