Mipro - Pack ACT 626 + 2x ACT 600T

This pack is particularly useful when a system needs to manage multiple users without turning the control room into a jumble of small receivers. The two ACT-600T units each occupy their own radio channel and connect to a single ACT-626, which centralises reception within a 1U chassis. The result is particularly well-suited to set-ups where several sources need to be available at all times whilst remaining easily identifiable and accessible from the control room.

The type of source can vary from one channel to another. Each transmitter features a 4-pin Mipro Mini XLR input compatible with lavalier microphones, head-worn models and instrument cables. A single pack can therefore combine, for example, two presentation microphones, a head-worn microphone and a lavalier, or even a vocal and an instrumental source. This flexibility prevents the system from being restricted to a single type of use.

The ACT-600T retains a comprehensive enough interface to be adjusted directly on site. Its backlit display allows you to monitor the channel, AF level and battery life, whilst the input gain offers six levels ranging from −12 to +18 dB. The low-cut filter, audio limiter, input polarity, mute modes and control lock allow each transmitter to be tailored to its source without needing to adjust the receiver.

The reception section is deliberately centralised. The ACT-626 features two independent channels, each with its own balanced XLR output and separate output levels. The two signals can therefore be sent separately to a mixing desk and then processed as two standard audio channels. The receiver also offers six pre-defined frequency groups totalling 120 channels, plus a user group allowing 16 customised frequencies to be stored.

To coordinate the system, Mipro combines digital diversity, Auto Scan and ACT synchronisation. The 48 MHz bandwidth provides ample scope for organising frequencies, whilst 256-bit digital encryption protects transmissions. The MIPRO Wireless Console software also enables the system to be monitored and configured from a computer, particularly when it is integrated into an installation comprising several wireless links.
