MuxLab - 500970 SM40 - Module SFP monomode 40km

The MuxLab 500970 SM40 is designed for long-distance fibre links, where standard modules reach their limits. It is used in installations spread over large areas, with equipment located far apart.

This module operates on single-mode fibre with a wavelength of 1550 nm, suitable for long-distance transmissions. This choice limits signal attenuation and maintains a stable link over several tens of kilometres.

The module is integrated directly into an SFP port. The format remains identical to that of standard modules, so it can be used with compatible switches, converters or AV over IP equipment. It can be replaced or added without modifying the existing infrastructure.
