Streaming equipment

The MuxLab 500763 TX enables HDMI signals up to 4K to be broadcast over an IP network using H.264 and H.265 codecs. It facilitates video distribution over long distances and existing network infrastructures. Designed for scalable installations, it can be integrated into multi-screen and video wall systems.

IP-based solutions offer much greater flexibility, particularly when it comes to broadcasting content to multiple screens or managing distributed installations. The MuxLab 500763 TX is part of this approach, offering an HDMI-to-IP encoding solution for professional environments.

This model supports HDMI signals up to 4K at 30 Hz and encodes them in H.264 or H.265 for efficient transport over a standard Ethernet network. This compression significantly reduces the bandwidth required while maintaining image quality suitable for the majority of display applications. The signal can then be decoded by a compatible receiver, such as the MuxLab 500762 RX, for display on a remote screen.

The advantage of this type of solution lies in its ability to be integrated into a variety of configurations. It is possible to set up simple point-to-point links, as well as more extensive point-to-multipoint or multipoint-to-multipoint systems. This flexibility makes it possible to create video walls, multiview systems or distributed broadcast networks, depending on the network infrastructure available.

The 500763 TX is not limited to video. It also incorporates stereo audio transport and remote control functions via RS232 and infrared. These features enable connected equipment to be controlled from a central point, simplifying the overall management of an installation.

Because it operates on an IP network, this type of transmitter can also be used for streaming applications on a local network, via WiFi or even remotely via the Internet. This paves the way for installations spread over several sites or for specific uses such as digital signage, meeting rooms or educational environments.

The PoE power supply completes the package by simplifying cabling, with a single network cable carrying both data and power. The result is a coherent, adaptable solution that's easy to integrate into existing infrastructures.
