The MuxLab 500765 connects analogue audio equipment to a Dante network. It provides bi-directional conversion between analogue signals and audio over IP. Adapted to modern installations, it facilitates the integration of existing systems into a Dante infrastructure.

ARTICLE N° 122173
In today's audio environments, the Dante protocol has established itself as a benchmark for signal distribution over IP networks. It enables audio to be centralised and routed with great flexibility, but sometimes raises the question of compatibility with existing analogue equipment. The MuxLab 500765 responds directly to this need by bridging these two worlds.

This audio gateway not only converts analogue signals to Dante, but also performs the reverse operation. It supports up to four independent mono channels or two stereo streams, with a frequency response covering the entire useful audio spectrum. This flexibility makes it possible to adapt to different scenarios, whether for broadcast, capture or signal redistribution.

The analogue inputs and outputs use Phoenix connectors, making them easy to integrate into racks or fixed installations. The inputs can accept line signals or line-level microphones, while the outputs can be used to feed amplifiers or active loudspeakers directly. It is also possible to interface unbalanced equipment using a suitable cabling configuration.

Operation is based on a standard network infrastructure via Ethernet cable, with a range of up to 100 metres. PoE power supply simplifies installation by eliminating the need for an external power supply. Audio routing is managed via Audinate's Dante Controller software, providing a clear view and precise control of audio streams.

Compatibility with the AES67 standard enhances interoperability with other audio over IP systems, extending the possibilities for integration in complex environments. This type of gateway naturally finds its place in professional installations such as conference rooms, broadcast venues, sound display systems or educational infrastructures.

The 500765 is therefore a coherent solution for upgrading an audio installation to a network, without jeopardising the analogue equipment already in service.
