The MuxLab 500995 is a Cisco CBS350-8P-E-2G switch preconfigured for MuxLab Video over IP systems. It makes it easy to network AV over IP transmitters, receivers and controllers with PoE power.

Presentation
The MuxLab 500995 is based on a Cisco CBS350-8P-E-2G switch already prepared for the brand's Video over IP solutions. The advantage is simple: you don't start with a generic network switch that has to be manually adjusted before it can be used in an audiovisual installation.
Its 8 Gigabit PoE ports enable compatible equipment to be connected, carrying both network data and power. For an AV over IP system, this reduces the number of separate power supplies and simplifies the organisation of a rack or technical point.
The switch also has 2 Gigabit copper/SFP combo ports. These connectors offer greater flexibility for connecting to the main network, adding a fibre link or integrating the switch into a larger architecture.
The Cisco Business 350 Series provides advanced management functions that are useful in an AV environment: VLAN, QoS, IGMP, network security, supervision and administration via a web interface. These functions are important for the correct management of video streams, especially when several transmitters and receivers coexist on the same network.
