MK2 MASCHINE comes loaded with over 5GB of various sound materials and designs ready for use, to integrate into your productions. All sounds are there! Powerful drum kits heavy sounds of vintage synthesizers, through acoustic instruments accurately reproduced. These sound materials were sampled, cut and categorized to optimize working comfort. MASCHINE also offers high quality effects such as dynamic processors, creative effects such as beat-mashers and even mastering tools, manipulate in real time from the hardware controller.

The concept of pattern MASCHINE MK2 user releases the eternal constraints of linear arrangement. One can thus build music scene by stacking patterns and rearrange the scenes on the fly. MASCHINE offers the possibility to sample the audio from the audio interface of the computer or resample internally to edit or cut accurately audio portions, assign channels and complex effects easily and quickly navigate the sound library, all in perfect integration with the physical controller.

The hardware part MASCHINE is both a tool and a controller. Sixteen bright and velocity-sensitive pads enable intuitive way to create rhythms, patterns, fiddling sounds or build sequences and fingertip projects. Two high resolution displays, eight rotary encoders, eight shortcut buttons and a transport control in addition to pads and other interface features to provide seamless integration with the MASCHINE software.
