DAW Controllers

The E16 controller, by OXI Instruments, is an elegant control object designed for precise gestures, each rotation fluid and silent, with no perceptible notches. It accompanies evolving creations, anticipates rapid changes, and supports musical writing in motion, with a serious but never rigid personality. The interface favours visual clarity and direct control, interacting via expressive LED rings and an easy-to-read OLED screen.

With the MIDI E16 controller, your mapping work gains a clear, instantly readable structure. The 16 push encoders handle CC, NRPN or 14-bit MIDI messages, depending on your approach. The E16 model makes it easy to get to grips with it, without any unnecessary detours, even during fast sequences.

On this MIDI controller, the scenes organise your control universe with 12 separate pages per configuration. Each scene stores up to 192 parameters that you can access without visual overload. The E16 retains 16 internal scenes, each enriched with 16 dedicated presets. This architecture supports fluid navigation and keeps your attention focused on sound creation rather than technical management.

The OXI E16 controller incorporates advanced Grouping logic that links multiple encoders to a single control point. A master encoder orchestrates complex, coordinated movements, without multiplying gestures. Snapshots bring together different values for immediate global changes. Each encoder also has a Record function to capture natural automation. The E16 model encourages organic, reproducible and perfectly synchronised movements. This approach enhances expressive coherence in extended MIDI configurations.

In terms of connectivity, it adapts to a variety of environments, both fixed and mobile. Two MIDI outputs, a MIDI input, Bluetooth 5.0 MIDI and virtual USB ports centralise control. The E16 communicates seamlessly with iOS, macOS, Android and Windows systems.

The OLED screen and LED rings provide constant visual feedback on every action. Values remain visible, even during rapid page changes. The OXI application helps you configure, save and share layouts. It reduces the time spent preparing controls. The E16 MIDI controller maintains a stable logic, even when the environment changes.
