The Little Bass Thing is an ultra-lightweight amp for electric bass. It develops 500 watts RMS in Class D, coupled to an extremely robust transistor preamp. A true weapon of precision, while maintaining the simplicity so dear to Orange, the Little Bass Thing features formidable Class A optical compression. It provides sidechain and optimised bass reactivity, and guarantees precise control of dynamics via a 3-band tone control with semi-parametric midrange, and a warm feel. It can also be activated live via an optional controller (sold separately).
With its carefully selected high and low frequencies benefiting from a 15dB boost/attenuation, the Little Bass Thing offers an exceptionally accurate and responsive bass sound. It also features a -6dB input for active basses or powerful microphones.
As well as offering exceptional sound and minimal weight, the Little Bass Thing also features a buffered effects loop and a studio-quality D.I. output.
Versatile, this amp can be used both as a playing tool and as a recording preamp when used without a cabinet, thanks to its dynamics and the ability to sculpt its tone,
