Here are just some of the benefits of Ortofon's MC Quintet Blue:
- Homogeneous, detailed sound reproduction
- Universal compatibility with phono preamps and tone arms
- Robust, durable design
- Easy installation and maintenance
- Excellent build quality
Nothing demonstrates Ortofon's long-standing resilience better than its commitment to refining analogue sound quality and continuing to develop new cartridge designs.
Since 1948, Ortofon has introduced around 100 different models of moving coil. The cartridges in this new series are more than worthy successors to the long line of models that have made Ortofon the world's leading manufacturer of phono cartridges.
Top mounting of the Quintet cartridges is easy and secure using the screws provided. The aluminium frame has threaded mounting holes and is easily fitted with 5 or 7 mm screws depending on the thickness of the cartridge holder.
The right angles, straight lines, visibility of the tip and sufficient distance between the disc surface and the bottom of the cartridge of the Quintet series will facilitate the correct mounting and alignment of the cartridge and tone arm. The Quintet series gives excellent results with most common tone arms.
