The coaxial design of the ORBIT 11 midrange and tweeter creates a sound source aligned on a single acoustic axis, stabilising your stereo image and improving overall spatial accuracy in your studio. The 6.5" midrange cone and tweeter dome work together with a temporal coherence that facilitates your mixing decisions and boosts your confidence in every adjustment.
The pair of 8-inch woofers use impulse compensation technology to stabilise low frequencies and reduce unwanted vibrations in your everyday listening space. The sealed cast aluminium cabinet limits structural resonances, improving the legibility of low frequencies down to 28 Hz.
The wide cardioid pattern (120°) distributes the signal evenly, improving sound coherence even when your listening position varies slightly in your studio.
Palmer has installed Class D amplification that delivers a total power of 1000 W, guaranteeing a comfortable dynamic reserve and a stable response when the level is gradually increased. Internal 96 kHz, 24-bit processing handles the signal with high resolution, improving the overall coherence and clarity of the sound. FIR filters maintain a linear phase, making transients easier to perceive and improving the precision of instrumental attacks.
