Panaro - MAX380H160 FS

The Panaro MAX380H160FS is part of the MAX series, a range of waterproof cases developed to protect fragile equipment during transport, storage or field operations. The distinguishing feature of this model is the incorporation of Fire Shield technology, identified by the abbreviation FS in its name. This system is based on the use of an E-Glass thermo insert combined with a technical fabric and specific straps, designed to improve the case's resistance to situations involving lithium-ion batteries.

The structure of the MAX380H160FS is based on a thick polypropylene body capable of absorbing shocks while retaining good rigidity. The lid incorporates a continuous seal to prevent water and dust from getting inside. An automatic depressurisation valve is also built in to equalise internal pressure in the event of changes in altitude or temperature, which is important for air transport or changing environments.

The case is opened by double-lever clasps designed to offer simple handling while maintaining a secure closure. The ergonomic, soft-cover handle makes it easy to grip when on the move. A number of practical details complete the package, including padlock slots, anchor points for a shoulder strap and a stacking system that allows several cases to be stabilised when transported together.

Inside, the standard configuration includes cubic foam in the lower section and honeycomb foam in the lid. This combination allows the interior space to be adapted to the material being transported by removing the foam cubes to create customised compartments. Panaro can also produce customised foams when the application requires it.

The MAX380H160FS benefits from numerous certifications attesting to its strength. It complies with IP67 standards for water and dust tightness, ATA300 Category 1 for air transport, as well as military protocols STANAG 4280 and DEF STAN 81-41. UN4H2 certification also authorises the transport of lithium-ion batteries considered as dangerous goods. Like the rest of the MAX range, this case is made entirely in Italy.
