The Pearl Masters Maple MM6C1450SC-858 snare drum features a 7.5mm 6-ply North American maple body. The maple produces a warm, balanced sound, with solid lows, clear mids and well-defined highs. This distribution ensures that the sound remains audible without straining, even in demanding live situations.
MasterCast moulded hoops accentuate the attack while helping to contain spurious harmonics. The result is greater precision, particularly on rimshots and hard hits. CL Bridge shells limit contact with the body, giving a freer, more natural resonance. The result remains dynamic, with no sensation of muffled sound.
The Matte Natural finish enhances the wood grain, giving the instrument a more restrained look. This model is equally at home in rock, pop, jazz and contemporary music.
