The Pearl MP4P1450SC-831 snare drum is made from 4-ply North American maple. The body is reinforced with 4-ply rings to maintain stability and reduce unwanted overtones. MasterCast Die-Cast hoops optimise projection and attack without muffling the sound.
Spin-Tight tie rods prevent any loss of skin tension, even after repeated strokes. The SR-017 groove makes snare drum release simple and reliable. The 45° chamfer angle ensures clear contact with the sticks and precise rebound. The 4-ply design provides a clean, controlled sound while retaining a warm body.
The Olive Burst matt finish enhances the wood's premium appearance. Moulded hoops reinforce the attack and reduce unwanted vibrations. Each strike produces a balanced blend of clear midrange and treble. Internal reinforcements ensure greater durability of the body. The snare drum responds immediately to the nuances of each strike without losing projection. It retains a rich, defined sound even at high voltages.
