Presentation
The Pearl MP4P904XPLC-831 drum kit embodies the high-end heritage of the Masters series. Its drums are made from North American 'reserve' maple, selected for its consistency and musicality. The 4-ply for 5 mm design, combined with chamfer reinforcements, promotes balanced, controlled resonance.
The 20" x 14" bass drum provides a precise low end, with good depth without excess. The 10" x 7" and 12" x 8" toms are responsive and easy to tune, making rehearsal and recording easier. The 14" x 14" bass tom completes the ensemble with a clear, warm sound.
The CL Bridge shells contribute to tuning stability while allowing the body to vibrate freely. MasterCast Die-Cast banding enhances attack and definition, without restricting the natural resonance of the maple. The R2 Air Tom system limits contact points to preserve sustain and open sound.
The Matte Olive Burst finish gives the kit a sober, refined visual presence. Its configuration adapts easily to modern contexts, from contemporary jazz to pop or studio projects. The midrange comes through with clarity, while the overall sound remains very balanced throughout the dynamic range.
