Presentation
The Pearl Session Studio Select STS904XPC-314 drum kit continues the legacy of Pearl drum kits renowned for their studio performance. The 5.4mm EvenPly-Six drums combine four birch plies with two African mahogany inner plies. This construction provides a clean attack while retaining a warm, controlled base.
The 10" x 7" tom is precise and easy to tune. The 12" x 8" tom stabilises the spectrum with a balanced response. The 14" x 14" bass tom develops round, restrained low notes. The 20" x 14" bass drum produces a clean, legible and focused low end.
The 60° external chamfer enhances projection without creating aggressive harmonics. The 2.3 mm SuperHoop II hoops contribute to a smooth, natural playing feel. The OptiMount suspension system releases the vibration of the toms. The RL-10 and RL-20 shells provide a reliable, discreet hold.
Remo UT Pinstripe and Powerstroke 3 heads make it easy to get a recording-ready sound. The built-in mini muffler lets you quickly adjust the bass drum response. The Gloss Barnwood Brown finish adds a sober, assertive look. The drum kit is supplied without snare drum, cymbals or accessories.
