The Phonak Earpiece V2 Plus Brown is designed to receive audio communications in production environments where a discreet solution is required. Its 18 mm in-ear design and weight of just 1.3 g (including the battery) mean it can be worn directly in the ear canal, with no visible cables or belt clip.
Its brown finish helps it blend in visually during audiovisual productions, whether on television, in the cinema or on stage. Roger digital transmission uses the 2.4 GHz band with automatic adaptive frequency hopping.
The Earpiece V2 is compatible with a range of Roger devices, including the BaseStation, the Touchscreen Mic, the Multimedia Hub and the Roger Repeater. The network also allows an unlimited number of earpieces to be connected. For audio playback, the receiver has a bandwidth ranging from 100 Hz to 7,200 Hz and a maximum output level of 100 dB SPL.
With a battery life of over 20 hours using a size 10 battery, it can be used throughout a full day’s production. An audible alert informs the user if they move out of range, whilst its design makes it easy to handle and clean on a daily basis.
