The Roger Earpiece V2 from Phonak is a digital wireless in-ear receiver designed for audiovisual productions, television and live performances. Designed for environments where discretion is key, the Phonak Roger Earpiece V2 fits directly into the ear canal, allowing you to receive communications without any visible cables or belts. Measuring just 18 mm in length and weighing 1.3 g including the battery, it is so small that it is virtually invisible on camera or to an audience.
Roger digital transmission operates on the 2.4 GHz band and uses automatic adaptive frequency hopping. The system can be combined with various Roger transmitters, including the BaseStation, the Touchscreen Mic, the Multimedia Hub and the Repeater, to tailor the setup to production requirements. An unlimited number of earpieces can be connected within the same network.

Its battery life exceeds 20 hours with a size 10 battery, which is sufficient to cover a full day’s production. For best results, insert the earpiece correctly into the ear canal, check that it is connected to the Roger system and adjust the volume before the performance. Phonak also recommends cleaning the earpiece after each use and replacing the wax filter regularly in accordance with the instructions provided.
