Renowned for its clean, quiet sustain, the Philosopher's Tone has established itself in the crowded world of compressor pedals. In addition to the Volume and Sustain controls, it has a Blend knob that lets you blend the original sound of the instrument with the compressed sound. This technique restores the natural attack of the pick and allows more extreme sustain settings to remain musical. The Treble control provides up to 6dB of reduction or boost at 2kHz to fine-tune the frequency response of the effect.
