The FireStudio Mobile combines excellent audio circuitry and technological platform of FireStudio audio interface, with the ability to be powered directly through the FireWire bus. You now have a no-compromise audio quality for recording and creation anywhere you can put your laptop!

A maximum number of entries for a mobile interface
The FireStudio Mobile 10 can record audio signals at a time, thanks to its 2 XMAX Class A mic preamps, its six line inputs and stereo SPDIF digital input.
The FireStudio Mobile comes with the Studio One Artist software, our multitrack music creation software, which includes more than 4GB of virtual instruments, plug-ins, loops and samples so you can start making music immediately.

True 48V phantom power, even via the FireWire bus power
Here's a little secret: audio interfaces of other manufacturers are to issue far fewer 48V to microphones that require phantom power, which means that the microphones can not work optimally, potentially affects signal quality even before that it passes through the preamp.
Jim Odom, president of PreSonus and his development team have developed an internal switching power supply, which can provide from the FireWire bus power, 48V phantom power of true and 30 Volts to power 2 superb mic preamps.

XMAX preamps
At PreSonus, we are aware that all components in the signal path, the preamplifier, are extremely important. The mic preamps accentuate the micro level to line level signal to undergo analog / digital conversion. Converters / JetPLL

JetPLL The circuit is extremely reliable and can tolerate very high clock frequency variations. Universal Control
Like all other members of the family FireStudio products (and StudioLive), the FireStudio Mobile comes with the Universal Control software. The Universal Control is a powerful application, flexible and easy to use which allows to chain up to 4 FireStudio family interfaces up to 52 inputs / outputs (depending on the power of your computer).
The Universal Control consists of two windows: a launch window and the dedicated DSP control window integrated into the interface.
The launch window is used to set the sample rate, sync source and the buffer size and routing WDM (Windows only) for the complete system. It includes the list of connected interfaces, which allows to launch the said interface control window.
The control window allows you to configure the routing, listening levels for each connected interface and prepare alternative zero-latency mixes with the integrated DSP mixer. The visualization of input and output levels has been optimized to use minimal CPU resources.
Among the possibilities of the Universal Control: ability to rename interfaces, use any system interface or any digital source of the tendering system as a digital sync source.

Studio One Artist
The FireStudio Mobile comes with an outstanding software package including Studio One Artist, the new sequencer for Mac OS X and Windows that makes the production of audio or music projects easier than before. Included in Studio One Artist, 20 plugins virtual instruments and effects, and a generous library of sounds, loops and samples.
