System complete professional recording 24 bit / 96 kHz

ARTICLE N° 15670
  • The FireStudio Project is a complete professional recording system 24-bit / 96 kHz with eight XMAX Class A mic preamps, converters 24 bit / 96 kHz, and a DSP for monitoring, mixing and zero latency routing. It comes with PreSonus ProPak Software Suite including Cubase LE Software 4 Steinberg, over 25 plug-ins (equalizers, compressors, reverbs) and over 2 GB of drum loops and samples.
  • 24-bit resolution
  • Sampling frequency 96kHz max
  • I / O 10 simultaneous (8 mic / line / instrument + 2 SPDIF)
  • Class A preamps mic preamps with gain control
  • Analog inputs 8 mic / line inputs, 2 with instrument inputs
  • Analog outputs 10 line level outputs (2 + 8 individual Main)
  • 1 SPDIF I / O SPDIF
  • MIDI 1 MIDI I / O
  • Inserts Send / return symmetrical for channels 1 and 2
  • DSP Matrix / mixer / router built-in DSP
  • Perfect for professional applications in studio recording, live recording, sound, podcast, etc., the FireStudio Project is designed to offer flexibility and unmatched sonic performance. Whether you want to record a live drum, take a guitar amp with microphone or all musicians of a group, the FireStudio Project is ready and fits perfectly. With the new mixer / router FireControl, you can transmit up to five custom mixes to different musicians during a recording session - this way, each player receives their own headphone mix.
  • Derived from the famous FP10 (FirePod) the FireStudio Project is equipped with the same eight XMAX microphone preamplifiers working in class A. The following have been added:
  • A / D converters improved (dynamic range of 114 dB)
  • Better synchronization with JetPLL (jitter elimination technology)
  • FireControl function mixer / router DSP for transmission of five individual stereo and free latency mixes for musicians during recording
  • Leds entry level display three segments on all analog channels
  • Internal IEC mains
  • ProPak Software Suite v3 comes with Cubase LE 4, BFD Lite, Wave Arts Plug-ins, DVD learning Cubase LE 4, etc.
  • XMAX Class A Preamplifiers
  • The FireStudio interface is equipped with eight microphone preamplifiers specially designed by PreSonus working class A. Most manufacturers equip their interfaces mic preamps inferior to reduce their production costs. At Presonus, we are aware that all components in the signal path, the preamplifier, are extremely important. The mic preamps accentuate the micro level to line level signal to undergo analog / digital conversion. The electronics module thus generates a signal line 400 times more potent than the microphone signal. As the preamplifier stage is one of the most important stages before A / D conversion circuit, it is essential to use high-quality preamps to achieve very good results. The low-end mic preamps (which come with most interfaces) produce poor sound and a lot of background noise. PreSonus preamplifiers working in Class A and have a voltage capacity and a higher rated current than operational amplifiers substandard. They are designed to offer a reservation awesome power, an ultra-low noise, wide dynamic range, extended frequency and above response, a very musical and clear sound characterized by silky treble, bass and accurate psychics well defined.
  • New technologies DICE II and JetPLL
  • The FireStudio Project uses the new ultra powerful DICE II FireWire chip, allowing simultaneous data transfer of 26 channels of inputs and outputs. The power of DICE II chip is its ability to easily manage a large number of channels with high resolution while minimizing latency and load on your computer.
  • The synchronization of the FireStudio Project is provided by a JetPLL Jitter reduction circuit. This patented circuit generates a noise shaping to remove nearly all the jitter present. It ensures a conversion of the highest quality, better stereo separation and a more crystalline and limpid. - JetPLL The circuit is highly reliable and can tolerate very high clock frequency variations. Indeed, it allows a high-speed locking on the digital signals of any format, over a wide frequency range. The JetPLL circuit thus ensures near-perfect and extremely reliable synchronization between your computer and the devices connected to the FireStudio interface.
  • FireControl - DSP mixing / routing with no latency
  • The FireStudio Project is supplied with a mixer application / DSP 18x10 routing offering more versatile mixing functions and to route the signal from any input to any output (including headphone output) and work with zero latency time (calculated by a DSP). FireControl to control signals from the FireStudio interface and digital audio recording application. Control Console lets you create up to five stereo mixes and route them to the FireStudio. It is therefore possible to route different mixes for musicians and sound engineer.
  • Also, the FireStudio Project has an internal flash memory to store, load and save all FireControl settings when the power on / off the FireStudio Project. This allows you to configure the FireStudio without needing to be connected to your computer - so you can use it as a pre-mixer, such as A / D and D / A, as a mixer for helmets, as converter format, instrument or microphone pre-amplifier like!
  • The FireStudio Project also comes with the new ProPak Software Suite Software Suite (v3), with more than 20 plug-ins, a large number of virtual instruments and over 2 GB of drum loops and samples including: Steinberg - Cubase LE 4, BFD Lite; Wave Arts - TrackPlug LE, LE MasterVerb, Discrete Drums and More

Founded in 1995 by Jim Odom, PreSonus became known by selling audio equipment (effects and interfaces) quality at affordable prices. Their first product, the DCP-8, received an award and was the first FirePod FireWire audio interface to have 8 microphones preamplifiers. Henceforth the range is much étofée and prices always designed for the professional equipment.
