RCF - SUB 15-AS

The active design of the SUB 15-AS means it can be quickly integrated into a mobile PA system, with internal signal management designed to keep the bass clean, stable and consistent.

Thanks to its 15-inch driver with 3-inch voice coil, this RCF subwoofer develops a balanced low-frequency response, capable of accompanying 8, 10 or 12-inch speakers without unbalancing the whole system.

The 2200 W Class D amplification built into the SUB 15-AS ensures a rapid attack and a comfortable dynamic reserve, while limiting overheating during prolonged use, a real plus when performances go on for several hours.

The Bass Motion Control treatment developed by the RCF teams acts directly on the excursion of the loudspeaker, enabling the subwoofer to reproduce the lowest bass frequencies with great stability, without distorting the phase or crushing the signal, even at sustained levels.

The reinforced wooden cabinet, covered in resistant polyurethane, gives the SUB 15-AS real endurance for touring, while maintaining consistent acoustic behaviour. Ergonomic handles, multiple speaker mast sockets and a protective front grille make it easy to set up in a variety of ways - front-facing, stacked or in more creative configurations - without turning set-up into an impromptu workout.
