The SUB 8008-AS is a dual 18” active subwoofer designed for live music, DJs, clubs, and contractors. Paired with its premium speakers, it features a 4400W dual-channel power amplifier, delivering sound pressure levels up to 137dB SPL. It combines ultra-fast attack, precise power handling, high efficiency, and very low heat buildup.

Presentation
The RCF SUB 8008-AS is a powerful active subwoofer designed for demanding live sound applications. It features two high-end 18" RCF drivers equipped with a ferrite magnet and a 4" voice coil, and a 4400W dual-channel amplifier. The amplifier is capable of handling extreme sound pressure levels and combines ultra-fast attack, precise power handling, high efficiency, and very low heat generation. It thus delivers very high performance, low distortion, while benefiting from silent, fanless cooling.
Rear-panel controls include 12 presets, a polarity switch, a Deep/Punch selector, and settings for crossover frequency, cardioid mode, and delay. A safety limiter preserves the naturalness of the input signal, regardless of its level.
Designed to be perfectly portable and withstand the demands of transport, the SUB 8008-AS is constructed with a sturdy plywood cabinet with an ultra-resistant polyurea coating. It is stackable, and two M20 threaded speaker stand mounts (on the top and side) allow it to be used vertically or horizontally with multiple satellite speakers. Acoustically transparent foam behind the grille provides protection against dust and moisture.
With its robust construction, high sound quality, and high power, the SUB 8008-AS is ideal for medium to large venues, especially when touring.
