Radial - LX 2

The Radial LX 2 is a passive line splitter specially designed for demanding applications in the studio, on stage or for broadcasts. With its integrated Jensen transformer, it offers exceptional galvanic isolation, ensuring optimal signal quality while eliminating noise caused by ground loops.

This feature is essential to maintain a clean audio transmission, even in complex environments where several devices are connected.

The LX 2 is equipped with an XLR/TRS combo input compatible with balanced and unbalanced signals. It offers two outputs: an isolated output for connecting sensitive equipment such as consoles or recorders, and a direct output that faithfully reproduces the input signal. Both outputs have a ground lift switch to further reduce unwanted noise.

Another major asset of the LX 2 is its variable level control. Thanks to a dedicated potentiometer, you can attenuate the input signals to avoid overloading preamps or audio converters.

This control, activated via a discrete switch, allows for precise level adjustment without compromising sound quality. The LX 2’s passive design also makes it independent of any power supply, enhancing its reliability in a variety of situations.

Built with a rugged steel chassis, the LX 2 is designed to withstand the rigors of touring and permanent installations. Compatible with Radial’s J-Rak rackmount systems, it can be integrated into complex setups while remaining easy to use.
