Presentation
The PZ-Deluxe is the little sister of the PZ PRE. It's a studio-quality instrument preamp, but in a more compact pedal for live use.
Like all RADIAL preamps, this pedal features high-end components for uncompromising sound at low noise levels.
She is capable of exceptional dynamics, adapts to all instruments, but her favorite terrain is the acoustic guitar. The PZ Deluxe will fit perfectly with double basses, mandolins and violins, no matter what type of sound system is used.
For piezoelectric transducers, a special PZB gain circuit can be engaged, which increases the input impedance to 10 M Ohms in order to eliminate plops and other noise. This eliminates the need for a dedicated preamp.

Even if the controls are not as extensive as on its big sister, it still has an input gain, a semi-parametric 3-band EQ with variable midrange, a 3-position filter intended for low frequencies and a switch phase inversion.
The jack output is intended for an artist amplifier while the DI XLR output is responsible for powering a sound system.
The low symmetrical output impedance of the PZ-Deluxe makes it possible to have long cable lengths available (more than 100 meters) while avoiding interference as much as possible.
A separate tuner output allows you to tune in silently on stage by pressing the 'Mute' button. And for solos, another variable gain circuit, with level control, lets you go 'front' in the mix when necessary.
