Radial X-Amp is a module 500 series that allows you to retrieve a pre-recorded guitar track and send the signal to amplifiers and effects for tweaking the sound and tune.
Advantages of reamping are numerous: during the recording, the guitarist has to focus on performance. Work on specific sounds and placement of optimal microphones can be done later.
This eliminates rewiring hours, while allowing the producer to change the character of the track at the discretion of the production.
