DI The Radial J48 is simply the best DI active in the world.
It has been optimized to withstand high amplitude signals without saturating using only 5mA current typically available on phantom power. The J48 has a switching power supply that provides power to circuits 9 Volts!
Most active guitars and basses will provide signals of 7 volts maximum volume amplitude. Since most IDPs are able to collect about 3 Volts, they saturate. As the J48 has more headroom, it does not have this problem of saturation. This extra headroom also reduces harmonic distortion, intermodulation and phase. The J48
solves all the typical problems that other DI market together, the result is immediate: it sounds!
