The Joey Landreth Signature Revv Dirtdog overdrive pedal was inspired by a small vintage amp used on the Dog Ear album. It delivers organic, highly responsive saturation with a rich, expressive mid-range grain. It works just as well for thickening a clean sound as for pushing an amp that's already slightly crunchy.

The Revv Dirtdog Joey Landreth Signature overdrive pedal has been designed to recreate the behaviour of a small vintage amp pushed to its limits. It takes its inspiration directly from Joey Landreth's sound work on the Dog Ear album, with a very natural approach to saturation and dynamics.
Its response is highly sensitive to touch, giving a lively, organic feel under the fingers. The grain evolves progressively with the attack, with a gentle compression that remains musical even at high gain. The Gain control allows you to go from a slight edge of breakup to a denser, more textured saturation.
The Level knob has a direct influence on the way the pedal pushes the amp downstream, making a big difference to the overall feel. The Bite control acts on the treble to make the sound brighter or softer, while the Tone control modifies the midrange structure and the overall personality of the sound.
