The Revv G8 White Pearl pedal has been designed for guitarists who want a quiet rig without losing the natural feel of playing under their fingers. Its analogue circuit preserves the grain of your amp, the sustain and nuances of your attack, even with a lot of gain.
Inspired by the noise gate built into the Generator 120 MK3 heads, it reacts quickly while maintaining a smooth, musical feel. You can get a discreet clean for blues or country sounds, but also a very tight effect for modern metal rhythms and ultra-precise palm mutes.
Settings are easy to understand, with just 3 main controls. The Threshold potentiometer lets you quickly find the right level of noise reduction, while Hold and Release are used to adjust the feel of the gate closure to suit your playing style.
This pedal has 4 jack inputs/outputs for use in a variety of configurations, including a 4-cable method with an amp. The compact format with jacks on top makes it easy to fit on a loaded pedalboard. Made in Canada with a buffered bypass, it works with a 9V or 12V centre-negative supply and keeps a clean signal even with long effects chains.
