Presentation
Thus, the Rode i-XY stereo microphone was recently released, equipped with two cardioid condenser capsules mounted in XY, to ensure a perfect stereo image. The quality of its converters allows recording in 24bit/96kHz, as soon as you use the dedicated "Rode Rec" or "Rode Rec LE" app.
Rode has managed to skillfully combine the robustness of a metal housing immune to magnetic interference, and the essential lightness as soon as the i-XY stereo microphone is mounted on an iPhone.
A 72Hz low-cut filter reduces unwanted noise located in the low frequencies (background noise, car noise, etc.).
