The V-Cymbal CY-14R-T is considerably thinner than previous generations.
If you're looking for a natural, expressive playing experience, better feel under the sticks with a balanced response, and a natural rocking motion, this is the cymbal for you.
The distinctive texture of the CY-14R-T cymbal will allow you to project an authentic, elegant look on stage.
When used with a common V-Drums module, the sensor system can be configured in two different ways: as a Ride cymbal (body/bell) or a Crash cymbal (body/edge). Connection is via a stereo jack cable.
An advanced V-Drums module is required to trigger the three zones, providing independent sounds for the rim, body and bell.
Connection is via two stereo jack cables.
As with an acoustic model, you can mute the cymbal by gripping it by the rim.
Please note that some parameters specific to the CY-14R-T are not available on all V-Drums modules. Make sure you have the right module or contact SonoVente customer service to find out.
