Supplied as standard with the TD716 kit, this 18-inch bass drum features a full-depth wooden body and a sensor integrated into the head, faithfully reproducing the bounce and feel of the air under the pedal. The wider hitting surface and robust design mean it can accommodate both a single and double pedal, with all the nuances of playing perfectly reproduced.

Stability and durability have been enhanced with improved telescopic legs, adjustment markers and a new design for the rubber feet and nuts. The pad also incorporates an adjustable pedal plate and an enlarged release zone, making it easier to play with short drummers or double pedals. The supplied KDP-5 patch protects the surface and accepts all types of bat - plastic, felt or wood - to extend the life of the pad.
