Presentation
The stage presence and response of a standard bass drum are familiar to drummers of all styles. With the KD-220, you can now get that acoustic presence and response in a V-Drums kit. This all-in-one solution features a 22-inch, high-quality maple acoustic bass drum, equipped with one of Roland's renowned advanced bass drum transducers*. Roland's innovative air damper mechanism works with the acoustic drum to "move the air" and provide resistance to the pedal beat as it hits the head, allowing for a stable, accurate release with classic bass drum response. The KD-220 works perfectly with double bass drum pedals and is compatible with most V-Drums modules. It's also ideal for hybrid kits that mix acoustic and electronic, giving you the look of an acoustic drum kit and the ability to trigger the sounds of your choice.
