The Roland MN-10 Mood Pan is an electronic percussion instrument that turns the traditional handpan on its head. Designed for the musically intuitive, it features 10 pressure-sensitive pads, a wide range of sounds from a variety of traditions, and a dedicated app to enhance the experience. With its 3 built-in speakers, headphone output and USB-C connection, it's just as suited to moments of meditation as it is to more advanced creative endeavours. All in a portable format that requires no training.

The Roland Mood Pan MN-10 doesn't wait for you to know how to play to become your new sonic ally. Its 10 pads on an intuitive circular interface make it possible to create coherent melodic phrases without false notes or cold sweat. This is not an elitist instrument: everything here is designed to make music accessible, even to those who thought that the recorder at school would be their last musical adventure.
Behind its futuristic handpan look, the MN-10 hides a far greater versatility. It offers a collection of sounds inspired by meditative and traditional instruments such as the gamelan, singing bowls and sitar. Thanks to the Mood Pan Plus application, you can even personalise your moods to suit the moment: a calm morning, a cosy evening, deep relaxation or an acrobatic posture on a yoga mat.
And because meditation doesn't have to mean deprivation, the MN-10 also comes with a 2.1 audio system, USB-MIDI compatibility and even a Bluetooth link so you can play your favourite tunes or record your sound explorations. You don't need a Buddhist temple to refocus: a sofa, a pair of batteries and you're ready to shape your acoustic bubble, headphones screwed on or loudspeaker ready.

Joueur de Handpan, j'ai acheté le Mood Pan pour avoir plus de possibilités concernant la diversification des tonalités. En réalité, il faudrait plusieurs Handpan, ce qui est très onéreux. Avec le Mood Pan la possibilité de jouer diverse tonalités de handpan, est présente sur cet instrument. De plus il est possible de sélectionner d'autres instruments. La qualité de son est indéniablement très satisfaisante à condition de le brancher sur une enceinte. Cependant, bien que performant, il faut savoir que ce genre d'instrument electronique ne remplace pas un hand pan au niveau son. Peut être mis à part le nouveau néotone très onéreux. A chacun d'apprécier...
