With acoustic-drum triggering more popular now. Roland has the ear and offers three new sensors that meet the market demands: the RT-10K (for kick drum), the RT-10S (for snare drum) and RT-10T (for toms). Smaller than their predecessors, the sensors of the 10 series are easier to place. They offer even faster and more nuanced response.

Higher sensitivity
Roland had given the main objective of improving the sensitivity of the sensors and fully succeeded in his mission with the RT-10K / S / T. These sensors are a new type designed to eliminate nuisance repeat triggering offering an adjustable structure (the US patent no. 6,794,569). The reduction in size and weight further improves the sensitivity of the sensors.
