You can take the SPD::ONE KICK with you wherever you go, thanks to its compact size and battery operation. It's light enough to fit in a bag or instrument case, and robust enough to travel, thanks to its metal construction. You can even play and create your own sounds on the move using headphones, then insert them into your gig that evening.
Operating the SPD::ONE KICK is ultra-simple. No complex sub-menus or button sequences to memorise: you choose your sound by turning the bank knob to one of its 12 positions, and strike the pad to play it. With just four front-panel buttons, everything you need is at your fingertips, including the ability to edit sounds, adjust overall volume and balance in real time.
The SPD::ONE KICK is packed with cult sounds, but sometimes you might want to use your own samples. Via USB, you can import sound files in WAV format up to five seconds long, simply by dragging and dropping. Your sounds can then be modified in the same way as the internal sounds, using the pitch and effects buttons. If you want to use sounds longer than five seconds, opt for the SPD::ONE WAV PAD, which can store up to 4GB of WAV files.
Thanks to its USB-MIDI functionality, the SPD::ONE KICK can be used as a control pad for music software. This means you can play any software sound, giving your musical productions solid, realistic MIDI percussion tracks.
