Sabian's HHX 19" O-Zone China belongs to the HHX series, renowned for its balance between harmonic complexity and dynamic response. Made from B20 alloy, this china cymbal features a hybrid design combining the characteristics of a traditional china and an O-Zone cymbal.
With a diameter of 19 inches and a medium-light weight, it offers an explosive attack with rapid decay, perfect for accents and percussive effects. The holes drilled close to the edge reduce sustain while accentuating the trashy, aggressive character of the sound, without sacrificing projection.
The sloping profile and raised edge, typical of chinas, promote an immediate response with a short, abrasive sound suited to modern styles (metal, progressive rock, fusion). The Xtreme Hammering finish applied to the surface adds complex harmonics, enriching the sound spectrum.
