Lefthanded Bass
The Sadowsky MetroExpress Vintage JJ Black Pearl 5 String Maple Electric Bass is thoughtfully designed for left-handed players. Okoume is lighter than ash or alder. It provides a warmer tone without sacrificing reverb. This lightness allows for hours of playing without getting tired. The quick-locking bridge system makes changing strings quick and easy. This model is ideal for those who like to experiment with different gauges or materials. In the blink of an eye, the instrument is ready for the next set. No wasted time, just a seamless transition between sessions!

Presentation
The Sadowsky MetroExpress Vintage JJ Black Pearl 5 String Left-Handed is an electric bass that combines roasted maple for a clean attack and natural sustain.
Compared to a rosewood fingerboard, maple brings more clarity. Each note stands out with a marked brilliance, cutting well in the mix.
The stainless steel strings reinforce this effect. In slap, the attack is percussive and biting. In fingerstyle, the tone keeps a strong presence, even on subtle nuances.
The 19 mm spacing helps those switching from a four-string to a five-string. The fingers find their bearings without forcing. A well-balanced distance between fluidity and precision!
Left-handers have few quality options on the market. This MetroExpress has a good balance and a well-distributed weight. Even in long sessions, it remains manageable.
The push/pull changes the color of the sound. Live, the passive mode softens the highs for a more natural grain. In the studio, it keeps the dynamics better without unnecessary saturation.
In a jazz trio, it is better to dose the bass and favor the neck microphone. A soft and responsive mix lets the instrument breathe. For rock or funk, the active mode brings more attack. A centered balance adds bite without losing roundness.
The bridge makes it easier to change strings. An asset for those who like to test different tensions! Also practical for adjusting your playing according to the style.
Its Black Pearl look attracts attention. The reflections vary according to the angle and the lighting. The tortoiseshell pickguard adds a well-felt vintage touch.
Solid, responsive and well-designed, this bass leaves nothing to chance. A good choice for picky left-handers!
