The Savarez 510CRP is based on a mechanical argument that classical guitarists know well: the New Cristal E1-B2-G3 nylon composite treble strings sound better under normal tension, where forcing the load stifles their projection and hardens the touch of the right hand. The D4-A5-E6 Cantiga Premium bass strings in silver plated yarn work in the opposite way - strong tension anchors the fundamental and reduces the flutter of the long notes.
This mixed normal/strong tension on 6 strings is not a compromise: it's a manufacturing decision that optimises each register in its own range.
