The Savarez 6580 E Nylon is a set designed for an instrument unlike any other: the oud, whose neck geometry and pitch length vary according to Arab, Turkish or Persian traditions. The six nylon strings, silver plated in normal draw, respond to this diversity with their double-length construction - each string covers the two most common sizes without the need for a separate replacement set.
The nylon core conveys an organic warmth characteristic of the maqam repertoire, with a supple touch response under the risha. The silver thread structures the bass without hardening the attack. This set of 6 strings covers the full range of the instrument in a single package.
