The Schlagwerk RTS41CD is a hand drum that lends itself to a variety of uses, from musicality to therapy. It's made from a beechwood frame covered in goatskin.
Between two membranes is a mixture of steel and glass balls that produce a distinctive sound when they slide. The sound is reminiscent of waves, which adds a soothing atmosphere. The sound lulls the mind and invites you to settle down, a characteristic sought after in meditation, yoga and sound baths.
Thanks to its 8 tuning screws, you can adjust the tension of the skin to obtain more or less pronounced tones. What's more, you can choose to remove some of the beads to reduce the intensity of the sound.
Lightweight and easy to handle, the Coast Drum lends itself to long sessions. You can play it flat, standing, on your knees or between your thighs: it follows your posture!
