Guitar Microphone
The Seymour Duncan Antiquity Lap Steel is a single-coil, flat-pole pickup, very similar to those of the old Telecasters. Many guitarists have replaced modern pickups with these models taken from lap steels, rediscovering the look and sound of the '53 Tele. This model has a rectangular back plate made of vulcanized material, fixed with two wooden screws. Carefully made, the bobbin is hand-wound using artisanal methods and covered with waxed thread for added protection.

Presentation
The Seymour Duncan Antiquity Lap Steel Pickup is an electric guitar pickup that stands out for its Alnico 2 magnet and passive electronics.
A flat-pole, single-coil type pickup, it shares characteristics with a Telecaster head pickup. Many guitarists, dissatisfied with the offset of modern Tele pickups, removed these pickups from their lap steels to adapt them to their Telecasters. This electronic change allows them to rediscover the tone and aesthetics of the 1953 models. This led to the disappearance of many lap steel pickups, which have become valuable parts on Telecasters.
Featuring a rectangular vulcanized bottom plate, this model is attached to the body of the instrument by two wooden screws.
The coil is manufactured and specially wound by hand using vintage techniques. It is wrapped in waxed thread to protect the windings. The connection wire is made of fabric. This style of manufacturing ensures authenticity and endurance that will appeal to those who are picky.
