This kit of 2 pickups is inspired by the original pickups that equipped the famous Greeny guitar, Les Paul, owned by Peter Green, founder of the band Fleetwood Mac, which has passed through the hands of Gary Moore, Phil Winfield, and is currently used by Kirk Hammett on his studio albums. These pickups have helped define the characteristic sound of the modern electric guitar.
Greenybucker pickups are ideal for both neck and bridge positions, offering a rich, versatile sound ideal for a wide range of musical styles, from blues to rock and jazz.
Greenybucker pickups were developed with the help of Kirk Hammett, Metallica's guitarist and current owner of the 'Greeny' guitar.
They have been designed to faithfully reproduce the specifications of the original pickups, including asymmetrical coils and unpolished Alnico 2 magnets.
