Seymour Duncan has exploited the warmth, the sublimely aggressive attack, the rich midrange - in short, the Jazz Bass timbre - and extended it to the bass.
The coil geometry and winding configuration have been modified to suit the nature of extended-range instruments.
It is now possible to capture the subtle characteristics of the traditional J-tone down to the very low end.

The SJ5 67/70 pickups are compatible with modern Fender 5-string Jazz Basses.
If you have an older model, use model 70/74 for a proper fit.
