Tone Circuit designed for Music Man basses, it will add enormous tonal versatility to any bass. It allows the musician to boost or cut targeted frequencies to obtain specific tones and compose an exceptional timbre, whatever the situation.

Presentation
The STC-3M4 tone control is designed to work in any Stingray-type bass equipped with a passive pickup.
It has 4 control buttons (Volume/Slap, Mid, Low Hight Concentric) and requires 1 x 9V battery (2 x 9V batteries can be wired in series for greater flexibility).
The treble control can produce a wide, bright response, but soft without being shrill.
The midrange control can be used to remove excess midrange or to add a sonic power that will really make your solos stand out.
Bass can be reduced to add punch, or increased to add warmth and punch.
The Slap Switch is a push-pull switch located on the volume knob. Pulling the volume knob will activate the special EQ contour, designed specifically for slap playing.
The two small adjustment potentiometers on the circuit board can be modified to preset the slap contour EQ as you wish.
