Dual-coil, splittable Trembucker-format pickup for electric guitar, bridge position, white finish. The Duncan Distortion incorporates a solid ceramic magnet and large windings to produce powerful yet balanced rock and metal tones, with rich harmonic content in the upper midrange.

ARTICLE N° 81554
Launched in 1980, the Duncan Distortion was the first high-output Seymour Duncan microphone.

Its tight, aggressive lows and dazzling highs make it the pickup of choice for punchy crunch rhythms and blazing leads, which is why it's found on the guitars of rock and metal players the world over.

Handcrafted in the Seymour Duncan factory in Santa Barbara, California, the Duncan Distortion uses a large ceramic magnet, a nickel silver bottom plate, 4 conductors for numerous wiring options and is wax-coated to prevent pickup problems.
