Presentation
The Showtec Melodist Mobile is a professional audio player designed for stage environments and installations requiring sound diffusion synchronised with lighting or DMX automation systems. Housed in a robust 19" half-rack metal chassis, it offers a complete, compact and easily integrated solution.
This player can operate in two distinct modes: trigger or player. In trigger mode, the Melodist Mobile can play up to ten stereo WAV files simultaneously from a micro SD card, with each playback controlled via ten independent DMX channels. An eleventh channel can be used to adjust the overall volume, guaranteeing total control from a lighting console or automated system. In the absence of a DMX signal, six physical inputs can be used as manual triggers to launch the first six audio tracks directly.
In player mode, the Melodist Mobile behaves like a traditional media player, capable of playing one file at a time with different playback modes: single continuous, repeated, random or sample. All the main functions - play, pause, stop, folder and track selection - can be controlled via the input terminal.
The device features a clear OLED display, front-panel controls and four status LEDs for easy navigation and monitoring. Its balanced stereo XLR connector and 12-36 V DC power supply ensure easy integration into any professional environment.
