Showtec - NET-2 Panel 5 Points Black

The Showtec NET-2 Panel 5 Points Black has been designed to meet the needs of installations that wish to integrate a DMX point directly into a wall, while retaining the flexibility of a complete network node. Its black square format and 5-pin connection clearly indicate its orientation towards professional environments where standard DMX cabling must be retained. Thanks to its two DMX IN/OUT ports, the module can be used as a network gateway, takeover point or dedicated DMX output, depending on the configuration chosen.

The NET-2 Panel 5P Black or NET2 Panel 5P BK converts Art-Net or sACN to DMX512 and also works in reverse. This bi-directional conversion capability makes it ideal for complex lighting systems where several universes need to be routed, merged or sent back to a console. The PoE power supply makes it easy to install when a compatible switch is present, and its Phoenix terminal block offers a reliable alternative when the power supply needs to be remote.

The front-panel control interface combines an OLED display with a number of buttons, allowing IP address, universes, DMX modes and merge options to be set. The module can also be configured via a web browser, which is useful when installed in a technical wall or dedicated room. With its two universes and support for HTP, LTP, Normal or Backup modes, the panel becomes a structuring element in a modern DMX/Ethernet lighting network.

It can be installed in a U50 European box or a standard flush-mounted box, making it compatible with a wide range of technical environments, while its ABS plastic construction ensures that it remains sturdy and unobtrusive once in place.
