Showtec - TR-512 Pocket

The Showtec TR-512 Pocket is a small module designed to manage DMX sequences without the need for a permanent console. The device records incoming data via its DMX port and saves it on a microSD card, enabling it to run shows lasting up to 24 hours. This approach is ideal for both fixed installations and immersive environments where automatic or conditional triggering is required.

The TR-512 Pocket, or TR512 Pocket depending on the model, has six optically isolated GPIO inputs that accept switches as well as motion, light or temperature sensors. Each input can launch a separate show, or activate a specific mode depending on the chosen configuration. Autonomous operation is complemented by an OLED display that makes it easy to navigate the menus, assign shows, manage triggers and view the status of events in real time.

The module also adds several playback modes. Stage mode maintains a static position when no show is active. Show mode ensures continuous playback. Relay mode transmits a received DMX signal to the installation in place, making it a hybrid tool capable of switching between playback and signal transit. For installations requiring wall access, two-way communication is possible via RJ45 with dedicated TR-512 Install/Pocket panels.

With its external 12 V DC power supply, compact metal chassis and isolated DMX ports, the TR-512 Pocket offers a reliable solution for managing automated shows in museums, attractions, shops or any other venue requiring a robust, discreet DMX trigger.
